We will meet next Thursday during 7th hour advisory. Let's compile a list for
the A-P High School Battle of the Books. We'll need about 20 - 24 books on the list.
I am looking forward to a fun year discussing books.

I've heard about the Hunger Games Trilogy from a friend but haven't read it yet! We should definatly consider them first... :P
ReplyDeleteThe Hunger Games Trilogy are awesome. I really liked the first, Hunger Games and the Mockingjay which is the 3rd book of the trilogy. Yes, we most definitely should read these this year. Start reading today. We did talk about Hunger Games last year in the Battle of the Books, but we will have Mockingjay on the list for this year so you really should read all 3 books! Enjoy!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe met yesterday and I can feel the excitement for the Battle of the Books and for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie! The list is complete for the Battle - check it out on the website and in the school library. The cart next to the AV room has the Battle of the Books displayed. Start checking them out and START READING!

Contest will be held April 13th - that's a Wednesday. It's just our high school competing with each other so we'll meet; take a written multiple choice test about the books, eat some pizza and have discussions about the books - IT'S GREAT FUN!!!
